Three children playing in a bright room, wearing LilliOli pieces
ABOUT LILLIOLI

For the first years

LilliOli makes clothes that don't shout and that grow with the child. Four prints, one intent.

OUR STORY

How it started

We were looking for our first baby clothes and saw the same thing everywhere: licensed characters, quick prints, fabric that feels like plastic. Nothing worth keeping for years.

So we drew four prints. A seagull, a cherry on gingham, a rocking horse, a soap bubble. No logos. Clothing a child can wear without advertising anything.

Four years on, the prints are still drawn by hand and the fabric is still Supima cotton. Only the child wearing them changes.

MATERIALS

Where it begins

It all starts with the fabric. We work exclusively with 100% Supima cotton — a long-staple cotton variety that gets softer with every wash, not rougher like cheaper cotton.

No polyester, no synthetic blends, no materials that pill or stiffen in a few years. What you buy today can pass through three children.

Supima cotton

Long-staple cotton from the southwestern US. Twice the length of standard cotton, so softer, stronger, no pilling.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100

Certified free of harmful substances. Safe on skin from day one — even for the most sensitive baby skin.

SUSTAINABILITY

Slower, more considered

We make small batches. No seasonal collections, no stock we have to discount. You know what we make, and it's there — or it's not.

Our prints are timeless precisely because they are. A seagull will still be a seagull in five years. We don't want to make clothes that already feel 'old' after one season.

PRODUCTION

Made in Europe

Our pieces are made in a family business in Portugal, with the same seamstresses for over ten years. We know them. They know us. No middlemen, no black boxes.

Shipping from Porto to our warehouse in Antwerp. From Antwerp to your door. Two stops, not ten thousand kilometres for a romper.
